Introduction	This is one woman's journey through life, and documenting our farm life in Kentucky. I am a Christian, a partner to My Farmer , and a mother to my two wonderful and talented children. I have always dreamed of living on a farm. I have achieved my dream, met the man who I will spend the rest of my life and the contentment and happiness I knew I had always deserved. My walk in this world has been bumpy and its been so long since I've been able to take a deep breath and feel the joy that God has given me through my faith and many prayers. I am a cancer survivor and a wanna be artist. Animals and nature are two of my passions in life. But my number one passion is photography, which in 2011 has really taken off and I hope to further that venture over the next couple of years. This is my story, and I'm glad you stopped by to visit, come again - I always leave the porch light on! I also love comments and meeting new people with the same interests...so dont be shy!
Interests	Our family and farm are our number one interest! I love to learn from others that farm and share a love of horses with me! We farm approx 1000 acres of growing corn, soy beans, wheat, and hay. We have a herd of 180 beef cattle, 4 wonderful horses, our chocolate lab - Levi, and our Aussie - Baby Girl 2 Manx and our gorgeous Maine Coon Priscilla. My chicken count constantly changes, our rabbit Marbles couldnt be cuter, and our newest addition : Princess Porkchop the Pot Belly Pig has been one of the most unexpectedly fun additions to the farm. I began in the fall of 2011 to breed quality French Black Copper and Blue Copper Marans. In 2012 we are adding 2 milk goats we hope to use their milk and just for plain old giggles and smiles they bring to your face on a daily basis, and we hope their milk will aide feeding our orphaned calves that we get from time to time. Being self sufficient is a goal I'd love to accomplish as well! Come back again and watch our dreams come true!
