    With this second album the project has evolved into a Belgian-American collaboration centered around Sam De Bock and Patricia Vanneste (Sohnarr, Hydrogen Sea, ex-Balthazar). The band, including Joey Waronker, Tim Lefebvre and Donny McCaslin, boasts an impressive collective résumé featuring collaborations with Roger Waters, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Beck, and Sun Kil Moon.

    DRIFTWD aspires to create a distinctive sound, blending melody, structure, and an intriguing collage style that resonates with the likes of Massive Attack, Tricky, Lamb, and Mark Lanegan. The title is a nod to a nearly identically named poem by Pulitzer Prize winner Elizabeth Bishop.
