After getting a rather odd call from his father, Aiden drives down to his old family farm to figure things out. Whether returning home was worth it is a mystery he won't live to solve...

This was a fun experience! I loved the art, the goat sprites were adorable, and i was invested in the story. I would've loved to do more as the player and im very curious about exploring the ending more, but overall it was a really fun project and incredible for a game jam entry!

I see the art struck you again, really nice to hear that considering this project was like 60% rushed time including the art but I'm happy to hear that the art and everything turned out all right. I love to see criticism I haven't seen before and I don't believe that I've seen the "I want to do more as a player" critique yet, and I 100% agree with it. Like mentioned in a lot of my other comments on this project, this game went though a ton of cuts to content and story in the interest of keeping it feasible for jam time. Buuuuut I have been keeping the idea for a full version of this game in my back pocket since a lot of people seemed to want it so rest assured that when the full version of Fathers Farm comes out, you will be able to do much more and explore many more than just one ending! Thanks again for playing and I'm glad you've played and enjoyed both of my games so far!
I liked the game, the part I liked the most was the art, I think it matched the farm feel well. I would add more sound effects throughout and the ending is a little bit abrupt but I saw that you just ran out of time.

I see that you've taken into account my struggles with the deadline so I wont harp on it but I'm very glad you liked the art style! recently I've been trying to get into the more "realistic" shall we say, side of things and I think I pulled some of that off in Fathers Farm (with the pile of hay next to the barn for example). And I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this in another comment but I really think the color palette does all the work in achieving that "farm feel" that you mentioned. Thanks again for playing an I'm so happy you enjoyed it!
Thats pretty neat, the ending was a bit sudden but the gfx really evoked that wheat farm feel.
Thanks for playing! the reason the ending feels sudden is because there were major cuts to content for the game due to me running out of time near the end. if specific content were to not have been cut there would have been much more build up to the "chase" and you would have been able to actually escape. I'm also glad you think the area feels like a farm, I personally think the color palette does most of the work. Thanks again for playing!
