The composition of all the tracks are extremely thought out and executed perfectly especially the ones that incorporate two tunes. The track i feel shows this is at their best is June's Garden/Pockets.

Scottish folk centred around fiddle and piano. The album begins with Dawn Chorus, which slowly awakens to the rising sun. There are reflective compositions throughout, while Almost Home and Ascending lift the mood back up. I think Megan Henderson and Lauren MacColl should do a gig together.

I had the pleasure of seeing this group at the Rocky Grass Bluegrass Festival in Lyons, Colorado USA in July 2025. They are great!
