Ryan Coogler’s critically-acclaimed Sinners is returning to the big screen from October 30-November 4, just in time for Halloween. Wicked‘s first film installment premiered in 2024 to great box office success and general acclaim (both Certified Fresh and Verified Hot). The sequel, which covers Act II of the musical, was filmed concurrently with the first movie, and pretty much brings back the entire cast with Cynthia Erivo reprising her role as Elphaba Thropp and Ariana Grande once more plays Glinda Upland, the pop-u-lar young woman who was initially a rival to Elphaba before they became fast friends.
