👋 Hey there, I’m Edwin.

Building digital products is my creative outlet

A little about me

§ 01

I'm a software engineer by trade and a maker by default — the medium just happens to be digital. Born and raised in New York City, now in Bogotá, Colombia, where I live happily with my wife and our cat 🐱. When I'm not in front of a computer, you'll find me training capoeira or chasing the next good meal as an amateur foodie.

Where I’ve worked

§ 02
  1. Obrigato Labs

    2026 — Present

    Founder / Owner

My own studio, where I take ideas from sketch to shipped product.

  2. Strety

    2023 — Present

    Senior Software Developer

Software for companies running on EOS — L10 meetings, Rocks, Scorecards, and Accountability Charts in one place.

  3. Ruby For Good

    2020 — 2022

    Technical Lead / Contributor

Open-source software built for nonprofits. I worked mostly on Human Essentials, a free platform that helps nonprofits handle the logistics of getting diapers and other essential goods to people who need them.

  4. Lingo Live

    2018 — Present

    Lead Software Engineer

A coaching platform that helps people communicate with confidence at work. Led engineering on the product connecting learners with their coaches, right up to the company's acquisition by Preply.

  5. Homer Logistics

    2014 — 2018

    Software Engineer

Delivery logistics for restaurants across New York City. Built the systems that decided what went where, and how it got there — until the company was acquired by Waitr.

  6. Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center

    2012 — 2013

    Product Development Engineer

Developed hardware for surgical use — a pulse oximeter that measures whether an organ is getting enough oxygen during an operation.
