ivan ag You really can feel the descent to madness and then the lift up to "normal" life (after a disaster that is). Sometimes reminds me of Tim Hecker with those harsh overdriven textures. Favorite track: Isolation I.

macadamianut Soft noise with pulsating synthesisers are my weakness. The first half of the album brings really sombre and unsettling melodies that builds up tension, the second half smoothens it away. I loved the high quality nature recordings. Favorite track: Liberation I.

about

An aural diary of lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic. The album is presented chronologically with two long form pieces - two opposites - split into three movements.

'Isolation' - the descent of the mind into chaos as society comes to a halt.

'Liberation' - the slow easing into the new normality and acceptance of the state of the world.

To be listened with headphones in a quiet environment.
