/ about

I build the whole thing.

Six years in commercial development. I move comfortably from schema design and API internals up to the pixels a user actually touches, and I care about both equally. I'm strong on the frontend (production React 18/19, Next.js and Vue) and just as comfortable on the backend with Node.js and NestJS, so I take features end to end.

For four years I led the frontend of VALT, an enterprise video platform with 50,000+ users. I made the architecture decisions and reviewed the code of a distributed international team. I also built two production automation platforms from scratch, on NestJS, React and Electron.

Open to remote roles worldwide, and ready to relocate within the EU.

  • Massposting, a multi-tenant SMM automation platform that cross-posts across ~1,000 accounts, with marketplace sales attribution and AI video generation.
  • TKM, a distributed browser-automation platform that orchestrates ~2,500 sessions across an API, a React web console and an Electron desktop app.
  • End-to-end type safety from client to server through ts-rest and OpenAPI contracts.

Lead Software Engineer

Vue 2/3 · TypeScript · Symfony (PHP)

Lead developer on VALT, an enterprise video platform (50,000+ users, 770+ orgs). I made the architecture decisions and reviewed the code of a distributed international team.

  • Migrated 2,500+ components from the class style to the Composition API (Vue 2 to Vue 3).
  • Cut build time roughly 20× (10 min to 30 s) by moving the toolchain from Webpack to Vite.
  • Killed accumulating live-audio latency with an AudioWorklet: minute-long drift dropped to a steady ~0.3 s.
  • Built the video commenting system and the reporting and analytics module from scratch.

What people I worked with say.

“Eldar jumped onto VALT, took over the admin panel and quickly handled anything we gave him. He even stepped up to urgently set up the system on AWS while a colleague was on leave. You can rely on him — a key part of the team.”

I ship to other people's codebases too.

Since early 2026 I regularly send patches to large projects: frontend libraries and GitLab itself.

GitLab10 merge requests merged into gitlab-org/gitlab and 9 more open: dedicated checks moved to the feature API, dark-mode print on light backgrounds, breadcrumb escaping, and copy/i18n fixes across groups and projects.VueUseTwo merged: an array template ref bound to v-for accepted as an observer target, plus controls docs for useElementVisibility.VuetifyOpen PR: a `timeout` prop on VAlert so alerts can auto-dismiss.AstroTwo open fixes: a Markdoc transform dropped for tag names with dashes, and a flaky dev-toolbar performance-audit e2e test.Ant DesignOpen PR: stop the Menu icon from jittering when toggling inline-collapse.

Education

ITMO University, vocational diploma in "Programming in Computer Systems", 2018–2021 (left in the 4th year).

Languages

Russian is native. English is B1+, from four years on English-speaking teams (code review, written communication).

/ on ai

Full disclosure: I designed and built this site with AI in the loop, on purpose. I treat these tools like any other part of the stack, something I can point at a problem and direct. Knowing how to aim them well is part of being a fullstack engineer now, not a shortcut around it.
