An offering from yours truly, made possible only by a massive amount of help from the unbelievably talented Jherek Bischoff. I was so looking forward to the year 2020, and it ripped me to shreds. I know I'm far from alone. The original version of this song had been floating around in my head for months as an idea of something I should cover. I decided it was too relevant on a personal, national, and global level to ignore- between the "Greg" character, the ominous commentary about America, and the irony of the title. I wanted to take our collective heartache and turn it into something powerful at the end of a year that hurt us so badly.

To all of you who lost friends or family members, all of you who had your hearts broken, those of you who lost your jobs, your homes, your health, your dreams, your hope - this one's for us.
