Serpents Oath is a BM band hailing from Belgium, releasing here their third full-length album with Odium Records. This new opus is also paying hommage to the Swedish second wave mostly, with a typical formula reminiscent of Dark Funeral, Watain and a bit of early Behemoth. Punchy, raw, fast, but overall with a very modern sound to it, clean prod, all instruments well audible and a vocal performance directly from the lower rings of Hell. Highly recommended for fans of the aforementioned bands!
