N(124) + [ B O L T ] + Volker Kamp is a sound-aesthetic collaboration project in the field of tension between expansive drone, ambient jazz and electronic sounds. The four songs on the album "N(124) / [ B O L T ] / Volker Kamp" generate an incredible depth and power and create moving soundscapes.

Volker Kamp is a professional jazz and session musician and member of the long-standing project N + [ B O L T ] for this concept album. After albums in 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2020 as well as an EP in 2016 and the „15 Amps“ project in 2020, this is now the seventh collaborative release by drone/ambient artist N and black doom metal band [ B O L T ].

The conceptual idea behind "N(124) / [ B O L T ] / Volker Kamp" is the renunciation of distortion and the otherwise typical play with silence and volume. At the same time, the compositional and tonal influence of Volker Kamp enhances the sound experience. Although the four songs clearly sound like N + [ B O L T ], the smooth tuba sounds give them a very special, deep-lying mood and structure. "N(124) / [ B O L T ] / Volker Kamp" comprises four captivating works with a total playing time of over 80 minutes.
