Lower Sorbian

mydło

Etymology

Borrowed from Upper Sorbian mydło, from Proto-Slavic *mydlo, after the inherited form (also mydło) was displaced by zejpa (from German Seife). Equivalent to myś (to wash) +‎ -dło.[1]
