Usage notes
[edit]The following terms derive from the noun barát (“friend”) (as they don’t mean being friendly towards someone or something): cseribarát, elvbarát, felebarát, házibarát, kebelbarát, and szürkebarát. The terms emberbarát, műbarát, and természetbarát are traditionally derived from the noun even if they are (or may be) construed with the sense “-friendly”.
