As crazy as that sounds the thigh bone of the Mastodon species was around 17 ft long. Many  geographical events occurred it was shown that the species was also located in England. The First sighting of these bones was discovered in the Claverack, New York near the Hudson River in a sinkhole. It is believed that this specie located was drowned to death and it was seen that some species was also located near Utah as they migrated.
