Kristin Bair O'Keeffe (born 1966) is an American novelist, essayist and educator.
Formative years and family
Born in 1966 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, O'Keeffe graduated from Bethel Park High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the Indiana University and a Master of Fine Arts from the Columbia College Chicago.
She currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts with her husband and children.
Career
O'Keeffe is the author of three novels: Agatha Arch Is Afraid of Everything, The Art of Floating, and Thirsty. She has also written essays and other content for Flying: Journal of Writing and Environment, Poets & Writers magazine, The Baltimore Review, The Christian Science Monitor, The Gettysburg Review, The Manifest-Station, and Writer’s Digest.
She has also taught writing in Boston, Chicago and China.
