GEN Hamilton
If GEN Charles R. Hamilton remains suspended and/or reassigned through 22 May 2024, he will lose two stars, and revert back to his permanent rank of major general. Neovu79 (talk)
- Didn't realise he was suspended. Thanks for letting me know! SuperWIKI (talk) 07:20, 24 March 2024 (UTC)
Predictions for 3-star nominees submitted 05/14/2024
@SuperWIKI @KingEdinburgh@Neovu79
Let's check back in 18 hours and see how accurate I am.
Army
-LTG Bernabe: Deputy Commander, US Army Europe and Africa.
-MG Eifler: III Corps, First Army, or US Army North.
Navy
-RADM Anderson: Either US Sixth Fleet or Naval Inspector General.
-RADM Pappano: Strategic Systems Programs.
-RADM Lacore and RADM French are definitely getting Chief of the Navy Reserve and Judge Advocate General of the Navy, respectively.
Air Force
-Lt. Gen. Bauernfeind: Superintendent of the United States Air Force Academy.
-Maj. Gen. Hensley: Commander, 16th Air Force.
-Maj. Gen. Tabor: NATO Special Operations HQ.
-Brig. Gen. Conley: Air Force Special Operations Command. (Note: he'll be the third Air Force 1-star in as many years to skip the 2-star rank after Lt. Gen. Caroline Miller and Lt. Gen. Dale White).
-Maj. Gen. DeGoes is definitely getting Surgeon General of the Air Force. EPMen (talk) 03:17, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- Army: 1 for 2.
- Navy: 3 for 4.
- Air Force: 4 for 5. Bauernfeind surprised me. SuperWIKI (talk) 06:38, 24 May 2024 (UTC)
Ret. ADM Burke arrested
I thought this article might interest you. Retired ADM Robert P. Burke faces 30 years in prison if convicted in a contract bribery scheme. If convicted, I expect him to retroactively lose at least two-stars in retirement, at the minimum. It would not surprise me if he is reduced to ensign, and lose virtually all retirement benefits. Neovu79 (talk) 08:18, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- Already following this - I expected only a one-star loss though, since at the moment the article stated the offences during his time commanding NAVEUR-AF (4-star). SuperWIKI (talk) 08:20, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- I feel that the length of time in prison will be a contributing factor. 30 year prison sentence is a very serious offense. Not saying that he would get 30 years, let alone go to prison at all. But I don't think that the U.S. government would want use taxpayer money to fund his retirement at four-star grade, if he were a convicted felon. Neovu79 (talk) 22:44, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
June 2024
Hello, I'm Swatjester. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to United States Cyber Command have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. ⇒SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 02:11, 16 June 2024 (UTC)

Predictions for 7/24/24 nominations
Army
-MG Brady: Inspector General of the Army.
-MG Brown: Deputy Commanding General for Combat Development, U.S. Army Futures Command.
-MG Buzzard: Commanding General, U.S. Army North
-MG Vowell: Deputy Commanding General, U.S. Army Pacific.
Navy
-VADM Holsey: Commander, United States Southern Command.
-RADM Garvin: Naval Inspector General with Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Warfighting Development (N7) and President, National Defense University also being possibilities.
Air Force
-Lt. Gen. Lamontagne: Either Commander, Air Mobility Command or Commander, US Transportation Command.
-Lt. Gen. Reed: Either Commander, Air Mobility Command or Commander, US Transportation Command.
- (I'd give Lt. Gen. Reed a slightly higher chance for Commander, US Transportation Command due to him having been in 3 years longer than Lt. Gen. Lamontagne).
-Maj. Gen. Downs: Either Director for Intelligence (J-2), Joint Staff or Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Cyber Effects Operations. Dark horse possibility for Commander, Air Education and Training Command.
-Maj. Gen. Pettus: Military Deputy Commander, United States Southern Command.
-Maj. Gen. Sonkiss: Deputy Commander, Air Mobility Command.
@SuperWIKI@KingEdinburgh@Neovu79 EPMen (talk) 15:21, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
- Army
- -4/5 (I forgot MG Gavin Lawrence but I would've predicted Deputy Commanding General, Chief of Staff, US Army Materiel Command).
- Air Force:
- -4/5 (I did not predict Maj. Gen. Downs would become Associate Director for Military Affairs of the CIA since most people who've held that role came from a special forces background, not intelligence.
- -Navy:
- TBD at this time but given Maj. Gen. Pettus becoming Military Deputy Commander, United States Southern Command, I imagine I'm correct on VADM Holsey.

- This might shed some light into these nominations. General Officer Announcements - July 24, 2024, and Flag Officer Announcements - July 24, 2024 Neovu79 (talk) 01:56, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
- @EPMen, Neovu79, and KingEdinburgh: Possibility that MG Joseph Jarrard will be nominated as the next vice chief of the National Guard Bureau. This could mean the first two-star > four-star promotion in years. SuperWIKI (talk) 16:40, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
- Could very well be. Neovu79 (talk) 17:26, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
