Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... it existed for several months without objection under the title "Religious sister". Someone just chose to delete that article and direct it to the Nun#Distinction between a nun and a religious sister article. So I recreated that former article under this new name including the "Catholic" after it to clearly distinguish the topic from Nuns and sisters in general. What is here goes considerably beyond what is at Nun. And note the pivotal sentence in the lead of this article: "When bound by simple vows, a woman is a sister, not a nun."
