Properties affected in infobox

edit

It might be useful to add a properties affected parameter in the infobox flood, as an easy comparative between flood events. for instance the UK floods in 2015 saw 16000 flooded, 2013-14 7000, 2012 8000 and 2007 55000 in the UK.Lacunae (talk) 11:06, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Date parameter not working?

edit

It seems that nothing that's entered under the "Date" parameter will output anything. However, the preview also won't say that it's an unrecognized parameter. The only way to output a date is by putting it under the "Duration" parameter. --Dennis C. Abrams (talk) 22:07, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Denniscabrams: I just performed two dummy edits to the infobox on 1607 Bristol Channel floods and the problem is with the duration parameter rather than the date parameter.Jason Rees (talk) 22:29, 30 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

"Damages" should be "damage"

edit

"Damages" as used here is incorrect and should be replaced with "damage". See WP:DAMAGES. I propose that "damage" be added as an alias for the "damages" parameter (if it isn't already) and then we can replace all usage in articles with it, then finally delete the "damages" parameter. Note that other infoboxes already use "damage" instead, e.g. Template:Infobox public transit accident. Un assiolo (talk) 17:32, 11 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Not seeing any reason to make a change here. Nikkimaria (talk) 04:33, 12 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Can we at least add an alias damage for damages? --Un assiolo (talk) 17:07, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
