Just a Note
editThanks for removing the vandalism on the Yankees article. I did however, remove your mention of the increase in vandalism on the talk page. Basically I don't want to feed the trolls WP:DNFT. The Yankees article has a number of them, and I don't want to give them validity or a sense of purpose by acknowledging that they're getting our attention. They could also use it as flamebait. Just keep up the great work reverting the vandalism. Cheers. Yankees76 15:10, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Makes perfect sense. Thanks for the guidance! Brad E. Williams 15:24, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Seeking community input re standardizing baseball roster pages
editHi ... I'm leaving you this note because you recently made edits to one of the Major League Baseball roster pages. I've made a proposal for standardizing the format, structure and content of these pages here and would appreciate your input so that we may reach a consensus. Thanks. --Sanfranman59 05:28, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Image:RobThomson.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:RobThomson.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rhobite 03:18, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Wikimania in Atlanta!
editHi! I noticed your involvement on U.S. South-related articles, categories and WikiProjects, and I wanted to let you know about a bid we're formulating to get next year's Wikimania held in Atlanta! If you would like to help, be sure to sign your name to the "In Atlanta" section of the Southeast team portion of the bid if you're in town, or to the "Outside Atlanta" section if you still want to help but don't live in the city or the suburbs. If you would like to contribute more, please write on my talk page, the talk page of the bid, or join us at the #wikimania-atlanta IRC chat on freenode.org. Have a great day!
P.S. While this is a template for maximum efficiency, I would appreciate a note on my talk page so I know you got the message, and what you think. This is time-sensitive, so your urgent cooperation is appreciated. :) Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 00:56, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
AfD nomination of West Side Mall
editWest Side Mall, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that West Side Mall satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/West Side Mall and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of West Side Mall during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Ten Pound Hammer • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 00:13, 23 November 2007 (UTC)

Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees History Page
editThanks a lot for the kind words regarding the things I added on the SWB Yanks page! I really didn't want to change anyone's work, but I sat down and tried to work through some of the hard-to-find information regarding the franchise. It took me all day, and I'm still not done. Minor League franchise histories are so hard to trace with the constant movement. A lot of the info that was there (assuming you entered it) was very helpful in getting me going because I never heard of the Whips or Blues. I'm still not good at getting fancy with wikipedia, but this page is something I wanted to work on, having lived in Scranton my entire life. Again, thanks for the kind words!--Redzone72 (talk) 19:21, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 27
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Halal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bismillah (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

editInvite to Revive WikiProject:Shopping Centers!
editHey there, Brad! I'm Windyshadow32, a new member of the sadly inactive Wikiproject Shopping Centers. I am trying to revive this project to highlight the unique stories of malls across the country and the world especially as we lose more and more of them. Undoubtedly, we will lose shopping malls due to the challenges we face at this moment. Your account was listed as involved in the project, and I would like to know if you would like to help revive it! I can't take on this massive project without you! Please let me know if you'd be willing to help; I really appreciate it!
