Your many German translation requests
editI notice that you have left the same request for assistance with a German translation, on the User talk pages of at least two dozen different users, such as this one at Callumm's talk page. There are two problems with this. It is inefficient, and could be considered a mass spam message. You could also end up wasting the time of users who may decide to assist you, only to find that someone else was doing so simultaneously. (In your message requesting assistance, you did not disclose that you were mass-publishing your translation request.) Instead of doing that, consider placing the message in a centralized location that might attract many users interested in German translation, like WT:GERMAN for example.
Secondly, while there are certainly some people on English Wikipedia who know German, even a number of native speakers, if you want a translation *into* German *from* English as you seem to do, English Wikipedia is not the best place to request that kind of help. On German Wikipedia on the other hand, you will find thousands of native speakers, and you'll have a much higher chance of finding someone there to translate *into* German, than you will here. My recommendation to you, is to go to German Wikipedia, find a centralized forum there for translation, and place your request there. But whatever you decide, please don't mass-publish a request for assistance, without disclosing that you have made, or are making, the same request to many other editors as well.
Finally, you haven't signed any of your Talk page messages. When you leave a message on a Talk page, please always sign your messages with WP:4TILDES, like this: ~~~~. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 23:24, 1 January 2020 (UTC)
Thankyou for the Feedback. I apologise for any potential time wasted i have caused. I also apologise for mass spamming of translators. I will follow the recommendations in this message. Xyxyzyz (talk) 00:37, 2 January 2020 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of graffiti and street art injuries and deaths, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Footscray (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). editChange of name of List of fatal shark attacks in Australia to List of fatal shark-incidents in Australia
editHi Xy, I note that you have recently changed the name of the above list. I would suggest that you should of raised it on the Talk page and reached consensus before you carried out this change. Their is not univesal agreement on whether we should be using "shark attack" or shark incident" or some other way to describe it. For example, see the discussion on the Mick Fanning#Shark attack section. I note that the International shark attack file is the main source for a definition of a "shark attack" and they have not changed their wording. Even the Taronga Park Zoo described their web page (which the link you left on the move does not work) as the "Australia's leading source of shark attack data". So my question is, have you got agreement from any other editors to this change? Ilenart626 (talk) 08:53, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
- Due to your lack of response I have reverted the move. Suggest any further discussion take place on the Talk page. Ilenart626 (talk) 10:10, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
