Time: 10:00 am to midday
Location: net.work space National Library, Wellington, Corner Molesworth and Aitken Streets, Wellington

Venue
editThe National Library net.work space has good WiFi and internet accessible computers for those that don’t have laptops. The meetup organizer Einebillion has spoken with staff and they are happy to have us use the space for a meet up. We'll be there from 10.00am to midday. You are welcome to join in anytime during the event.
About the Event
editThe meetup is for both experienced editors and those wanting to try editing Wikipedia, Wikidata, or Wikimedia Commons. Come along to listen to what others are doing, talk about what you’re doing, ask questions, and get some help. The meetup is organised by Einebillion (Victoria Leachman) and Ambrosia10 (Siobhan Leachman).
Complete beginners are welcome. Training and troubleshooting is provided. Free WiFi is available. Bring a laptop if you can. There are also public computers in the space that have internet access. We’re open to everyone and committed to providing a safe space.
Food and drink in the space is frowned upon within the net.work area but Home Cafe is a a few steps away if your energy is flagging.
Photography
editWe are intending to take some photos of the event. These will be released for open reuse on Wikimedia Commons and used to illustrate the event pages. If you'd prefer not to be photographed, please let the organisers, Einebillion or Ambrosia10 know and we'll make sure you're not in shot when photography happens.
Future Meetups
editWe’re hoping to make this a regular fortnightly meet up so watch the Wellington meetup page or join the Wikipedia New Zealand Facebook group to be kept informed. Also see Wikipedia:New Zealand Wikipedians' notice board for discussion relevant to New Zealand Wikipedians.

Plans
editAgenda
edit- Introduction to meetup by organisers
- Round table for participants to say what you’re working on and if you need help with anything - bring along your Wikipedia Wikidata or Wikimedia problems
- Two things from Mike, in absentia, that Tahatai pointed out: the Carol Hirschfeld article is almost 50% about her dismissal; can we bring some balance there (see the Talk, pinging Gertrude206)? And the article Domestic violence in New Zealand is atrocious, with almost no information or sources: this needs a fair bit of work, and would be a good joint project for some editors.
- Archives New Zealand holding an Editathon on the 7th of July 2019.
- Highlighted research resource
- The recent release of the Whites Aviation Collection under Creative Commons - Attribution copyright licence by the National Library of New Zealand. Images are best found for download via their Tiaki site. More information on the release can be found on their blog post.
- Get on with editing and chatting
