Ted Griffin

Ted Griffin (born December 21, 1970) is an American screenwriter whose credits include Ravenous, Matchstick Men, and Ocean's Eleven.

Born in Pasadena, California, Griffin graduated from Colgate University in 1993. He was scheduled to make his directorial debut with Rumor Has It..., for which he had written the original screenplay, but was replaced by Rob Reiner 12 days after principal filming began.[1] He did a rewrite on the Ashton Kutcher film Killers.[2]

He moved into television by creating Terriers for the FX Channel.

Griffin played a role in The Wolf of Wall Street.[1]

His brother is the screenwriter Nicholas Griffin and his grandmother was the one time "Sweetest girl in Hollywood", actress Marian Nixon.[3]

Griffin got engaged to Broadway performer Sutton Foster in August of 2013.[4] He and Foster married on October 25, 2014.[5]
