Metallurgical Fire I didn’t rate Funeral highly when it was released because of my own embarrassing limitations at the time. It’s now my third favorite album from Esoctrilihum. Highest recommendation. Favorite track: Païthas.

Ghuughra This is an interesting one. Production is cold and piercing, with really prominent synths. Vocals are giving me a real late career Emperor vibe. The drums are... unconventional. Not bad by any means, at times they just seem to fit with the music more by force of will than by timing. Seeing as Esoctrilihum is a solo project, I take it as an indication that the man is operating on a different plane of thought than the rest of us plebs. Super good, check it out. Favorite track: Païthas.

pinkytheent Esoctrilihum continues to grow and seek, like a wandering root digging through the deep earth! I really liked the arrangement on this record: it has much more breathing room, interspersing the same degree of withering brutality with more openings for air and more clean vocals, a very welcome development for me. The heavy synth and organ use, as well as the general strange miasma of the project, rattling notes in a dungeon or mausoleum, suffuse the album and make the title very apt. Favorite track: Annobathysm.
