This report, the 31st in a series, presents public school statistics for the 50 States, the District of Columbia, and the regions and outlying areas of the United States. It include estimates of the administrative organization, pupils, high school graduates, professional staff and salaries, and revenues and expenditures. The text presents national data for each of the past 10 years and defines the basic series of statistics.
