wayfrmaine I had a friend Lee Crabtree that used to summer sometimes on Bustins Island. He used to occasionally play for Peals Before Swine, Bruce Mackay, Fugs, Eric Anderson and More. He would come over to the mainland to play my mom's grand piano while he was on the island. I got introduced to ESP records through him and discovered Erica Pomerance. I was always into the alternative music scene. She has certainly been an influence on me. Thanks Erica! Favorite track: To Leonard From The Hospital.

Comme Titre le plus apprécié, j'ai choisi 'The Slippery Morning' où cette artiste anglophone juive de Montréal chantait une partie des textes en français dans un album prévu en anglais. Est-ce une autre improvisation d'Erica? Favorite track: The Slippery Morning.

Erica Pomerance is a Canadian documentary film maker, poet and singer songwriter. In December, 1968, she assembled a diverse group of musicians to record her debut album, with engineering by Onno Scholtze. The late Trevor Koehler played alto sax. Gail Pollard, now also deceased, played flute. Dion Grody, Lanny Brooks and Craig Justen, of Octopus fame, assisted. Billy Mitchel, the legendary guitar virtuoso, Don Coopersmith, Ron Price on lead guitar, Richie Heissler on rhythm guitar, and Tom Moore on flute, an eclectic mix of classical, improvisational, folk and rock musicians.
