Unlined silk Furisode are considered to be VERY luxurious item. Poppies are quite rare motif on furisode. The big rinzu patterns and the lively and vivid keshi design place it from around Taisho period, with Art Nouveau influences.

A plain silk wedding kimono featuring a large phoenix accompanied by pine tree and cherry blossom motifs. Yuzen dyeing, with embroidery and metallic couching highlights and outlining. Very good condition, with a number of hard-to-find minor imperfections. 50" from sleeve-end to sleeve-end x 59" height.
