A few things I didn’t put in the reel: • to be sure, I gave each coat of base and clear coat 24 hours of dry time in between • the base coat will feel tacky until the clear coat is applied • I did paint the grout as well • I used my mop, warm water and usually Mr Clean to clean it and also vacuum or sweep in between Comment below if you are still left with questions! • • • • #paintedtile #paintedfloors #tilefloor #entryway #splitlevel | Pamela Goulden | DIY | Hᴏᴍᴇ Dᴇᴄᴏʀ | Facebook

No demolition: Avoid the dust, mess, and chaos. Instant transformation: Get a whole new look without gutting your space. Live your dream now: Don’t wait for a perfect home someday—make your current space feel like the dream today. 2. Prep is everything. Before you even think about opening a paint can, make sure your surface is ready: Scuff sand with an electric sander. You’re not stripping it down—just roughing up the surface and loosening grime. Scrub the floors well using Dawn dish soap and hot water, then rinse thoroughly. Steam mop to make sure everything is squeaky clean. 3. Prime it right. Apply 2 coats of Stix primer for a solid, long-lasting base. Let each coat dry properly before moving on. 4. Time to paint. Use @benjaminmoore Command paint—2 coats. I’ve tried other paints like porch & patio options, but nothing holds up like this. No sealer needed! This paint is tough, durable, and designed to last. This isn’t sponsored—just my honest experience. Command reigns supreme in high-traffic areas. 5. Dry time & move-in: Walk on it in socks once dry. We moved our furniture back in just 24 hours—no chips, no regrets! #paintedtile #paintedtilefloor #cottagecore #cottagestyle #frenchcountry #kitchentile #benjaminmoore #benjaminmoorepaint #benjaminmoorecommandpaint #benjaminmoorecommand | The Gingham Cottage | Facebook

Fittes gives you two sleek, modern options to choose from: Framed Wall Vents: 🛠️ DIY-friendly—installs in under 15 minutes 🔄 Mounts directly on the wall | Do your wall vents look like they could grate cheese? 🧀 It’s time for an upgrade! Fittes gives you two sleek, modern options to choose from: Framed Wall... | By Fittes | Do you have these vents in your home? Here's the upgrade that you need. We have two options. The frame model and the flush model. The frame model requires no drywall mudding, no mess. It's best for first time DIYers and can be done in under 15 minutes. Once installed, there's just a visible air channel and a frame that sits on top of the drywall surface. The flush model requires drywall mudding and can get a little messy. This is best done by a pro, an experienced renovator or if you're working with a pro, this is the best option. It requires a few layers of drywall mudding so it could take a little extra time to install. The only thing that's visible is an air channel. It seamlessly blends into the wall surface. Both flush and framed can be painted or wallpaper to match the surrounding surface and they can both be used on wall and ceiling vents.
1.4K views · 5K reactions | This is not a vent. It’s an air return and no air is being blown out so ventilation is not compromised. You can find the metal mesh at Home Depot and make a small wood frame for it. Paint to match your walls. DIY air return cover, home design, home building | Stefana Silber
90K views · 4.2K reactions | HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR BI-FOLDING DOORS for less than $70!!😱 step by step tutorial 👇🏼 LIKE + SAVE this post for future reference! You’ll need: - trim ( I used 11/16” x 5/16” x 8’) - mitre shears - nail gun - nails - caulking - wood filler - hardboard - primer - paint (I used Jogging Path- eggshell finish) - brush - roller - measuring tape - No More Nails adhesive STEP ONE: face your doors. If you have a plain flat door you can skip this step! If you have a pre-existing design you want to cover up like I did then cut the hardboard to size and glue to the face of your door using No More Nails. Let dry. STEP TWO: prime + first coat of paint. I like to prime and paint the first coat of paint before adding the trim (it’s easier to roll the paint on the door without the trim in the way) STEP THREE: measure and cut your trim. I used a 2” spacer between the top, bottom and sides of the doors. I cut all my corners at a 45-degree angle. STEP FOUR: attach the moulding to door. I worked with one frame at a time. Using my nail gun I nailed each piece to the door making sure they were level as I went. STEP FIVE: caulk and fill holes. after I had all of the moulding attached in place, I caulked and filled all of the holes with wood filler. Let dry. STEP SIX: paint the trim. Apply a coat of paint to the trim and blend in using a roller. want even more details on this project? check out my “closet door” highlight for the entire process, and links to all the products I used! follow @sagephillipshome for diys, home decor and styling inspo! • • • #bifolddoors #homedecor #diyhomeimprovement #simplediy #closetdoors #entryway #affordablehomedecor #mydiymydecor #diyhome #diyhomedecor #diy | SAGE PHILLIPS | home decor + diy
210K views · 22K reactions | I love answering questions about my painted floors because this project was one of my absolute favorites. I would LOVE to do it again. Paint and elbow grease produced a dramatically different aesthetic on my porch, and there was no dust, and no contractors to deal with. I cleaned them with TSP, rolled two coats of bonding primer, stenciled with flat sheen latex paint, and sealed with several coats of Varathane. That’s all there is to this process! It’s been two years and there is zero wear, and that’s saying something, we have 6 kids! If you’ve been dreaming of different floors, maybe this project is for you! #paintedfloors #grandmillennialdecor #grandmillennial #diyblogger #blueandwhitedecor #maximalistinteriors #traditionalhome #diy | Holy Mackerel House
