Loíza Our Legacy.

From August 2015 to November 2018, we had our highest amount of social media followers consisting primarily of large ohana, family friends, and U.S. Army acquaintances - one hundred and twenty three (123) followers on our then little ohana's Facebook and Instagram where we only shared photos of our love, beautiful marriage, joyful motherhood, and sweet hobbies for simply three years. Pinterest & Goodreads with a total of 43 followers are my sole internet presence since sticking to my 2018 New Years Resolution goal of zero social media. I’ve always preferred an old-fashioned book and a vintage home phone albeit I’ve had a Kindle E-reader and a smart phone since our return from Iraq in 2011. Since finally sticking to my 2021 New Years Resolution goal of zero iPhone aside for when Wi-Fi is available for listening of our music due to no longer being connected to cellular data & photography for our little ohana as well as zero texting a week ago as of June 9th 2021 thanks to my new flip phone, I only now realized I have yet to create an accomplished vision board for our humble little ohana - three of our loves of our life finally enjoyed where we’ve established our legacy for our keiki y futuros nietos home en Puerto Rico. The sweet Dirige Ohana vision boards with their entire passage and cover photos are best viewed solely on the Pinterest app for iPhone. This past March 2021 we flew in our Mama/Ouma, our Mom/Grandma, and our Grandy/Gigi to explore our Loíza to see where their grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be raised. My beautiful wahine and I are so blessed to have been born to beautiful, kind, strong, loving women that hold our hearts. I personally love that we took photos with our keiki, our mothers’, and grandmother where we kissed a decade ago en El Morro. Mi reina loves that we finally have photos of our three roses home en our Loíza. God and Ancestors truly bless and protect our good hearts, pure souls, genuine intentions, altruistic character, kindness, integrity, compassionate empathy, benevolent nature, insight, intuition, introspection, optimistic minds, joyful energy, high self-esteem with modest self-confidence, emotional intelligence, accountability, humanity, transparency as an open book, humbleness, and our yearn to always ensure we stay on top of our sin of sloth/self-effacement as a Social Instinct 9w1 FiNeSiTe INFP-A and sin of non-sexual lust/intensity as a Social Instinct 8w9 TeNiSeFi ENTJ-A. God is good! I would like to also honor my late calabash Uncle Mike for teaching me everything I needed to know about being Afro-Boricua as a keiki home in Hawai’i Nei. I thank the love of my life for appreciating my childhood love of salsa y bachata and letting me teach her how to dance to it in Iraq prior to our love enjoying Marc Anthony y Romeo Santos in both 2012 as well as 2017 and 2018 for our beautiful marriage, but for also getting me into new school reggaeton - not only dancing con mi amor to plenty favorite old school reggaeton artist during our adoption baby moon at Miami Bash 2015 (i.e. Daddy Yankee, Zion y Lennox, Plan B, Ivy Queen, De La Ghetto, Nicky Jam, Farruko) was a dream come true, but to enjoy both Bad Bunny y Ozuna in 2018, after mi amor y yo being their “dos calabash Titi” since 2016, con mi reina y hijos was amazing. Our love of music together dream within our beautiful marriage would be to dance con mi reina in loving view of our hijos to our salsa favorite 'Dos Gardenias' at an Angel Canales concert. We cherish our memories of slow dancing in front of our babies as Brad Paisley sang “to us” live in 2018 to our favorite country love songs since our sweet beginning in 2010. Lovingly raising our beautiful Afro-Latina daughter and our beautiful Afro-descendant son where they will see themselves home en Puerto Rico, a sacred indigenous island just like our Hawai’i Nei which has the same cost of living/housing market and small amount of Haole/Popolo/Borinki Kama’aina in comparison, without being ostracized is one of the greatest joys for this Mommy and Mama. Hanai is a foundation within our Hawai’i Nei culture. We began our motherhood journey in 2012 with a failed international adoption of a one year old little girl with special needs - blessed with our daughter in 2015 and our son in 2016 months before both of our keiki were born. Healing our children of meth, heroin, and homelessness is one of the greatest gifts of life we’ve ever achieved. Hula Kahiko(Polynesia/Kanaka Maoli/Hawai’i Nei) to Bomba y Plena(West Africa/Boricua/Puerto Rico) all for Kukui y Coqui. We look forward to taking care of all of our parents, especially our mothers’, home en Puerto Rico when they are elders. The Dirige Ohana has spent every annual/biennial PCS move for an entire month, deployment leave for an entire month, redeployment leave for an entire month, extensive TDY’s, and every major holiday to include celebrating our Dia de Los Reyes home en Puerto Rico since June 2019 to build our Dirige Ohana legacy memories. Seven decades and a thousand generations our little ohana and legacy will be blessed here home en Puerto Rico. Blessed and highly favored our beautiful and joyful little ohana. Pakalolo is sacred to our Hawai’i Nei and we also hold a Jawaiian reggae within our local islander culture. Bomba y plena, reggae, bachata, rice/arroz, salsa, rumba, plantains, country music, mangu, pigeon peas/gandules, hip hop, dancehall, kizomba, rock music, blues, horchata, samba, dembow, beans/habichuelas, mofongo, funk carioca, Soul Food, jazz, merengue, pilon to make all West African fufu evolved dishes within the Caribbean and Latin America, tostones, reggaeton, pasteles, bacalaitos, the machete, cumbia, soca, tamarind, menudo etc. all come from and are continued in honor of West African Ancestors and their descendants due to the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade beginning by the Spaniards in 1441. Cute side note as of June 2021 - We are not residents of Virginia as stated on our deed from our legacy home of Puerto Rico. Our residency changes every one to two years due to being a humble Active Duty U.S. Army family that is nomadic both CONUS & OCONUS. During this timeframe we were stationed in Brambleton, Virginia, as the love of my life served within her one year U.S. Army fellowship with Amazon. Cute side note as of December 2021 - Our little ohana has sold our Loiza home as of December 23rd 2021 to a family that will use our first home within our La Isla Del Encanto as an AirBnB. Mi reina y yo have become official residents of Moca-Aguadilla, Puerto Rico as of December 27th 2021. All for Kukui y Coqui. God is good! Cute side note as of March 2022 - As of a day ago on March 13th 2022, I no longer use a flip phone but have returned to having a vintage home phone for our humble little ohana. Sweet & simple life. Cute side note as of March 2022 - Surprised the love of my life with an early 40th birthday celebration to enjoy Bad Bunny for our second time in concert on March 25th 2022. After her nine month deployment in Afghanistan from May 2020 to February 2021, to see my beautiful wife and beautiful children smile everyday is what gives this devoted wife and proud Mama of two such joy. Ecstatic to take our beautiful daughter and our beautiful son to their second Marc Anthony concert on February 18th 2023 to continue our love day and Dirige Ohana legacy celebrations - their very first Marc Anthony concert for our then-two year old daughter and then-one year old son was in November 2017 that they both enjoyed whilst Mommy & Mama wore them in our vibrant Tula baby carriers, their same sweet baby wearing carriers we brought them home in as newborns from California, as we all danced together to salsa favorites.
