Description Our clients asked us to design them a garden with no grass, so various textures and colours of natural pebble and slate are used instead. Decking with a pergola provides the main seating space, and a water feature within a Mediterranean terracotta pot provides a gentle sound and movement of water. Natural blue slate is used for the short retaining wall, and York stone slabs are staggered within a bed of Scottish pebbles. In order to keep the garden open, the planting is sparse.
