Akilina | Pediatric Occupational Therapist on Instagram: "✨ If you want a list of materials we used, comment Magic! and I’ll send it over! ✨

As a pediatric OT, I started my Taste-Safe Tuesdays series to share sensory play activities that are both safe and engaging for little ones. The last time I did potion play, the video hit 8 million views—but I got feedback about using plastic glitter. So this time, I’m making it completely taste-safe and edible!

Here’s how I did it:
Ingredients

	•	1 cup baking soda
	•	½ cup cornstarch
	•	½ cup citric acid

Mix these dry ingredients together. To activate the potion and make it fizz, simply add water! For an extra magical effect, I used edible luster dust (food-grade glitter) and some neon food powder to create a glittery, neon potion.
