Tooth brush painting!! Art project for the day the tooth fairy visited our school during our dental health unit.
Happy Tuesday! Today we painted with toothbrushes! I made some shaving cream paint using shaving cream and glue! We took toothbrushes and painted a giant tooth! It was a perfect fine motor and sensory activity-even though not everyone was a fan of the "paint" getting on their hands :) Someone had other ideas with their tooth and colored it a little first! Toothbrush painting is a great activity to keep kids occupied indoors during any rainy days this summer, or on days when it's too hot to stay outdoors.
This week for us is all about healthy eating and dental. So we started off the week with this activity! To make the puffy paint (our pretend toothpaste) I used shaving cream & white glue. Then, the kids used toothbrushes to “brush” on the “toothpaste. I did put the outline of a tooth on the paper first, but if you have older kids then they can do that themselves. This was a super fun one!
