easy crockpot snack! | easy crockpot snack! this fall chex mix is so good y'all! | By Kristin's Friends | Alright, y'all. So, we're taking about two two to three cups of corn checks. I also have from my fall version here. I love these honey nut checks. So, about two cups, two to 3. I'm measuring it because I don't know. I feel like measuring today. Usually, I don't but I don't know but I feel like measuring and we have some rice. Rice chips. Y'all want to use the store brand? Go ahead. I've done that before and that's it. Taste good. Alright, y'all. I have some Cheerios. Y'all what's your favorite cereal or growing up? I don't really eat cereal that much but I like I like Cheerios. Cheerios were good and Cheez Its. One cup. I roughly. Uh now, I'm losing my train of thought. Fishy crackers. Yum yum. Uh Uh are we just using the whole package, okay? Cuz these are good. I mean, it is what it is. Alright, let me have some little pretzels. I feel like I'm really filling up my crockpot. It's making me a little nervous. Alright, we're going to do about a couple pretzels. And peanuts about a cup. Give or take. Y'all don't have to measure this but I I I'm obviously I'm doing like a rough measurement, alright? So, we're just going to give this a little mix. Little mixy mixy. We're making a delicious fall snack, alright? Right right in our crockpot. Right in our crockpot. Alright. Y'all this is totally customizable. Use whatever you like, alright? Um alright. So, for now, what I'm going to do, I'm going to move this back a little bit right here I have one stick of melted butter and I have stuff everywhere alright y'all next we have this sauce wash your sister sauce what's this here sauce W sauce and now I'm just saying all the names that y'all have taught me because it's too hard to say quarter cup into one stick of melted butter alright one stick of melted butter we also to this going to add you can season it however you like but I have some garlic powder I like garlic so we good amount. We have some onion powder. Alright, good amount. And then y'all we have today I'm going to add a little bit of thyme. Um y'all can use if if there's an herb you really like. I've done it with dried sage, rosemary is real good but whatever whatever y'all like. Use whatever you'd like, alright? So now we're going to take this baby whisk and we're going to give this a little mix. Mixy mixy just like that, alright? So butter and seasonings. What's this here sauce? Wash your sister sauce. What's another fun way? Those are my favorite. I like wash your sister sauce. That's my favorite. Whoever taught me that. Thank you. Okay. Now, we going to take our mixture and we going to drizzle this. Y'all, I'm laughing because sure. Makes me think of my friend, Millie. I love her. I miss her. That's all. I gotta send her this video but she knows. We used to work in a restaurant together actually with Bridget too and we would she I don't know I don't know I don't remember with the story of that but we we can never say that word so we just always say we're sauce together and it makes me think of her and she makes me happy and that's it alright alright y'all so we're just going to give this a nice little mix you incorporate the the butter mixture with all of our dry ingredients we're going to set this on low about 3 hours or so and then we're going to add one more thing when it's done I can't wait to show you all this yummy fall chex mix alright y'all so our chex mix has been cooking for about three hours low. I forgot to tell y'all put some paper towels under the lid so it catches a condensation, alright? Otherwise, your check snack's going to be soggy. I actually forgot after but when I went to mix it after 30 minutes, it was good. So, so it's done y'all and make sure while it's cooking, you stir it about every 30, 45 minutes so it don't stick, alright? So, now we're going to do here y'all. We have a bowl and we going to take this. I wonder if all this will fit in the bowl. What do you think, Fred? I don't know about that. I kind of want just pour it in but I don't know if that's a good idea but we got you know we just going to do some of it alright because we going to serve this up real cute for our little holiday party y'all are going to love this alright our little fall Halloween party let's see It's still warm. That's my favorite. Alright, y'all. That's good. We're going to save this all though. I love having this stuff around the house for a snack. It's so good. Alright, y'all. No such thing as too much chocolate. Just like no such thing as too much cheese. No such thing as too much bacon. No such thing as too many cats. Well, maybe. I don't know. Fred, should we get some more cats? Fred said, yes. Y'all. Oh my goodness. I'm about to give me some more cats. Alright y'all and this is how I like to serve it. All you need: 1.5 sleeves of saltines... | By The Tipsy Housewife | Let me show you how to make my everything but the bagel saltine crackers. I line a cookie sheet with saltine crackers. Mine takes about a sleeve and a half of crackers. Then, I use canola spray oil and everything but the bagel seasoning. You wanna spray those crackers really good with the canola oil. You can use any kind of spray oil you want and then you wanna season them all up really well with the everything but the bagel seasoning. After you're done seasoning those crackers up, I give them another spritz of the oil to help that seasoning stick and then they go into the oven for 10 minutes at 250 degrees. They come out toasty and perfect. I like to eat these with a schmear of whipped cream cheese and some prosciutto. Sometimes I use smoked salmon, capers, pickles. Anyway you make it, it's a delicious snack.
