It was the little dog of Pharaoh Amenhotep from 1427 BC. Found mummified with his necklace, a bowl of water and his own perfume bottle. This mummy of a dog was found inside tomb KV50, known as the Tomb of the Animals, in the Valley of the Kings. It is believed to be one of the pets of Pharaoh Amenhotep Il, who ruled Ancient Egypt between 1427 and 1401 BC, due to the proximity of this tomb to that of the pharaoh.
