This is one of my favorite centers for students to practice beginning sounds, simple sight words, CVC words and sentence structure. Students will love getting their detective on and working out the mystery sentences. To complete the activity, students use their early phonetic skills to write the beginning sound of each picture using whiteboard marker. They can then copy the sentence onto the template provided or into their books while adding the correct punctuation. There are 24 different boards
