After my 9-year-old explained the significance of marigolds for Dia De Los Muertos, the Algorithm was so kind to share the gorgeous coffee filter flowers @sibster made. I of course had to try it immediately. They are stunning, so simple to make and cost almost nothing. STEPS 1. Fold a stack of coffee filters in half 3 times. 2. Cut scalloped edges. 3. Add food coloring to small cups of water. 4. Dip the coffee filters in the water and squeeze excess. 5. Separate the filters and let them dry overnight. 6. Staple 8-10 filters together. 7. Scrunch it in a ball then flatten again 8. Pull up filte
