First the snow report; it snowed twice maybe three times and this is what we have. Granted some might have blown away.
Not much to complain about!
I am wearing my snow boots now...just too cold for Crocs even with socks.
Far Guy has one more radiation treatment on Tuesday. Monday's appointment had a little glitch...as we have to see the surgeon again as a troublesome spot has appeared on his incision. Is it a radiation burn? A pocket of fat? A stitch? Something to worry about? Something not to worry about? The Radiation Oncologist says he is going to err on the side of caution and recommends that he see the surgeon. Needless to say Far Guy is discouraged.
I refuse to be discouraged until I know exactly what to be discouraged about. What is one more appointment anyway...it is what we do.
Far Side
I'll have my fingers and toes crossed that the spot is nothing serious.
ReplyDeleteWe've had snow at home too. I'll be back in it later this week. It's not the snow but the cold I'm most not looking forward to.
Oh bless you both, glad you have that attitude, it surely encourages him too. I'm praying for you guys.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to believe, but we have a lot more snow on the ground than you do. I am happy to send it north if you provide the hauling services!
ReplyDeletePrayers for Far Guy today and I hope he gives that bell a good ringin'!
Hoping for a positive day for you and Far Guy!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to say except you are doing the right thing. Worrisome stuff happens and you worry until you figure it out.
ReplyDeleteHopefully that spot will be nothing important. He's so close to that finish line.
ReplyDeletePraying it’s nothing serious and can be taken care of quickly. RHill, TX
ReplyDeleteI understand how he feels but I like the 'let's wait and see' approach.
ReplyDeleteWell...we all are gonna pray that this little thing that has come up on the incision is a simple fix. I'm believing! LOL this amount of snow in our area would shut down all businesses. We don't know how to handle snow! Crazy isn't it.
ReplyDeleteWe are all praying it is just a little something, nothing HUGE!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have the best attitude, but I do understand Far Guy being discouraged, too. I hope it all checks out ok.
ReplyDeleteHow I hope this latest spot will turn out to be nothing to worry about.
ReplyDeleteWe've got about 10 inches in total on the ground. Some blew around. Some piled up. It's winter and cold, cold, cold. I'm with you. No borrowing more problems. I'll pray about it and wait to hear the update. Far Guy is a trooper. He is amazing and so are you. May God bless you both and give you His peace.
ReplyDeleteLove and blessings,
Betsy
Praying that it is a nothing burger! Of course ONE MORE appointment. We were blessed with several inches overnight - enough to cancel school today.
ReplyDeleteHopefully this is just a insignificant little thing and far guy is headed towards the final treatment for good!
ReplyDeleteThinking about you and Far Guy.
ReplyDeleteI pray it is nothing to cause concern.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well with appointments this week.
