Hot take:

I don't get all this auto-breaking bs that Nissan offers for the Versa. Nissan tries to sell it as some sort of new tech when it was invented in 1955 by VW. The Karmann Ghia was perfectly capable of automatically breaking if you left it outside in the rain.

Also, who wants a car that will automatically break down?

honda apparently.

"Nissan" (but really, it's Renault that) is discontinuing everything interesting. Renault is run by bean counters, as proven by their crap front-wheel-drive products, lackluster interiors, and constanty replaced CVTs (at around 7,500-10,000 miles). When it comes to FWD and AWD vehicles, and even CVTs, every other Japanese manufacturer is superior. (I personally don't like CVTs myself, but to each their own.) The only good ones that Renault makes are the RWD ones (I personally love the Nissan Z and Alpine A110).

Until Nissan starts making a new Versa NISMO with FWD and a Sentra NISMO with AWD (and not just half-baked ones), I don't want to ever see another product from them. Honda/Acura and even Toyota/Subaru are far ahead of the game.

I'm just trolling, it looks pretty nice actually. It looks too much like a concept car though. I need to see it in full production form.

the rendering they have shown off does look nice, if a bit cartoonishly proportioned. we will see though

and even then the Z is ancient on the inside
it's just a facelifted 370 which is in turn an update of the 350, right?

And then you have the prince of engine technology themselves, Mazda.

Pretty much. Nissan's current financial situation is deserved. Maybe Honda will sort them out or maybe they'll die off. We won't be losing much as I doubt they have anything interested planned for the future.
