Audi USA claims 1500kg curbe weight = 3306lbs...
Thats the same weight as Audi claim under europen 92/21/EWG weight rule (filled up car with 75kg driver!) 1500kg - 75kg = 1425kg real curbe weight.
some scaled curbe weight TT-RS
sportauto with options loaded supertest
1468kg = 3236lbs
sportauto comparison test (DSG)
1480kg = 3262lbs
sportscars comparison test
1468kg = 3261lbs
cars in action (south africa)
1453kg = 3206lbs
Evo UK
1450kg = 3196lbs
autocar UK
1450kg = 3196lbs
depending on seats and options the weight can be very different...
as you see there are even DSG versions scaled lighter than the one Road &Track has scaled and here we put manufactor claim or best avaible test reslut online... not the worst avaible!!!!!

I sorry 3360 lbs...
Either way that's a whopping + 225lbs heavier than what's posted here...
Who's coming up with these bogus #'s?

Wow! Who came up with the curb weight???
3135 pounds??
Road&Track just recently weighed the lightest 6-speed manual version at 3365 pounds...

The extra ps/Nm is just from an ECU upgrade. The American division of Audi had to decide on only 1 transmission to certify for the US. They went with the 6sp manual. That meant no DSG & no launch control. They gave the US version a few more hp...ps to make up for it.
The upgrade will probably find it's way to the European models.
