All right today I want to talk to you about neoprene is a type of rubber and a lot of people misunderstand it to mean the fabric that's on the rubber so what I've got here in front of me or several examples to try to help you understand when you're looking at neoprene or trying to order a neoprene what you need to make a decision about, so this is a picture or actual sheet of neoprene this is the raw rubber on this side it's planes kind of got a smooth texture it's kind of sticky on the other side what we have is a white model now if you're going to design a product, and you don't want it to slip you're going to definitely consider where you have the bra you're bringing one side on the other side in this case I've got nylon now the benefit of the nylon fabric is that if you need to sell it the neoprene the stitches will kind of rip through the neoprene but if you put a fabric on one side, and you stitch through if it's going to hold together a lot better so some of the products that you might find yourself interested in making is neoprene here I've got a laptop case this actually has neoprene in the center and then nylon on both sides because you want it to slide easily, so you can put your laptop in it won't stick on the rubber part of the neoprene so this Metric's actually been coated with that on the both sides' neoprene also comes with Velcro on one side so in this case we've got a medical bracelet someone made, and you sew the Velcro hook part to your neoprene and sew a loop patch to your neoprene, and then they'll stick we will actually sell neoprene with loop on one side, so you don't need to sell that next a neoprene comes in a textured backing, so we call this a shark skin or textured this is a little stickier than the smooth version, and lastly I wanted to discuss with you some of the different colors that need comes in on our website there's going to be a chart where you can see all the different colors that we offer to European in this case I've got pink neoprene on one side orange on another here's an example where I've got yellow nylon on one side of the neoprene and green fabric on the other in this example we actually used a white neoprene in the center and lastly a lot of people think neoprene mostly as wetsuits and this is a good point to talk about the firmness of our neoprene the neoprene that we sell on our website is the hardness and density of wetsuit, so it's got a bit of stretch to if it's a bit of squishy feels perfect you know for a laptop case or a medical bracelet thanks for watching my neoprene video have a great day
