When they come in, they have 10min to get unpacked which made the perfect time for me to check them. I saw this idea from another teacher at my school that does pencil checks! My students earn 5 Pom Poms if they have them all for being responsible, if they are missing one they get 4 and so on. If one is broken, they can “buy” a new one back, it cost one Pom Pom."
