When I look at these as a whole, I think these are the things I'm drawn to: trim on walls, ribbed pieces, very dramatic light fixtures, elongated light fixtures both horizontal and vertical, modern and antique furniture combined, "dark academia" anything, luxury fabrics and drapery, mixed metals, large artwork, and spots anticipating large florals or greenery. Things I know I don't like or want for this space: rattan, farmhouse elements, extreme black/white look, "cottage-core", "granny-core".
