117K views · 2.6K likes | Sher Marshall on Instagram: "Blending together sounds can be a really difficult concept for some new readers. 💜This is one trick that is working for one of my students right now. 🪞I also use a hand mirror and have the child look in the mirror while they make the first sound, we notice the shape of their mouth, where their tongue is, and whether or not, it is a “buzzer on or buzzer off” sound. Then we use the mirror and watch while we make the second sound, and discuss it.
