Here is another Bay Window card that I created using just a DSP border! This one uses one of the 4 panels on this piece of DSP. All you do is trim the 6x6 piece to 4" x 6", trim, adhere, and go! I LOVED using this piece in this manner! I DID also share this version on my latest video.

In preparing to host WCMD on the PWMB, I had been looking through various ideas I've collected over the years and came across a couple of "Bay Window" cards. I thought it was a GREAT way to use scenic patterned papers - ones I love but have struggled to know how to use. There were things I didn't particularly care for about each of the ones I saw, so I decided to make my own pattern. Here it is: This makes a finished card that is 4 1/2" x 6". In addition to the base panel, you need a scene…
The bay window fun-fold card was a new one for me! I received the following card in the mail from Carol LeFave last Mother's Day and knew I wanted to give it a try! I wanted to use the beautiful Countryside Inn DSP and Cheerful Daisies bundle to create this card. The card does lay flat to mail and it does open. After you open it, you tuck one little flap under the inside piece to get the bay window look. This was one of the make & takes at my recent craft retreat. When the card is flat, you…

And It also folds flat to fit inside a standard envelope. On the back of the card is somewhere for you to write to your recipient. Because the card has the fun standing feature, I though it worked really well with the glorious Thoughtful Journey paper. And then for the back of the card, I replicated the scenery…
