Swaddling is an important part of newborn sleep because of the way newborns transition through sleep and to help their reflexes. So if your little one seems squirmy and not settled- it’s probably not the swaddle but just normal newborn sleep! #newbornsleep #sleepybaby #babysleep #swaddle #newmom #newmama #momtips" Newborn Swaddle How To, Swaddle How To, How To Swaddle A Newborn, Swaddling Baby Newborns, Postpartum Hacks, Newborn Development, Toddler Sleep Help, Newborn Activities, Toddler Sleep Training

Newborns often sleep better swaddled up and it can be nerve racking to begin this transition when you know it’s going to be a couple of tough nights. You’re already not sleeping enough as is! 🫠 It can be problematic to wait this long sometimes because once your baby even tries to roll you immediately need to take both their arms out of the swaddle. There’s no transition period, just going cold turkey which can really disrupt sleep as baby gets used to that! My preferred way to transition baby out of the swaddle is one arm at a time. Do one arm at bedtime/overnight and tuck it back in during the night if you need Sleep Walking Kids, Baby Things You Need Newborns, Self Soothing, Newborn Video, Baby Progress, Sleeping Hacks, Not Sleeping, Newborn Baby Tips
