Congratulations! You’re a first year teacher in special education. It’s finally time to set up your classroom and meet your first group of students! The first year of teaching in a special education classroom is exciting but it can also be challenging. Technology can be such an AMAZING resource in the special education classroom. iPads, tablets and AAC devices can help students communicate, access curriculum, create and use visual schedules, and learn basic math and reading skills.
