Barry Stedman - Online Ceramics
Barry Stedman is an unusually free and fluid potter, his very painterly and intimate thrown vessels evoking the colours and textures of weather, sky and land in-the-round. A painter by inclination, he enjoys the “soft responsive clay” of his vessel forms, and developing this spontaneity in the gestural, intuitive nature of his colour and marking.
