While I normally keep a jar of pickled onions handy , I also love to make these sumac onions. The sumac spice is a gorgeous red color and adds some lemony salty flavor to these onions. Make a jar and save them for meal prep! 🌱Easy Sumac Onions 🌱 INGREDIENTS: 1 large red onion, sliced thinly 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil Juice of 1 lemon 1 tbsp sumac 1 tsp flaky salt 1 bunch parsley , chopped Add all ingredients to a glass jar or container with a lid , cover and shake it to combine. Let sit for at least 20-30 minutes before enjoying . Store remainder in the fridge for a up to a week #veganrecipes #saladrecipes #

Then thinly slice your onion, place in a container and pour your liquid over. Let it cool, cover and place in the fridge. I like to add some pickling spice or just black peppercorns. Super fast and easy. #pickledonions #pickling #foodhacks #recipeideas | Laura | Facebook
