Grow Bag Potatoes!
Grow potatoes in Grow Bags! • Place a 3-4 inch layer of loose soil, amended with compost, in the bottom of the container. (Roll down the sides of the container if desired.) Potatoes prefer slightly acidic soil. • Plant seed potatoes sprouted side up in soil and cover them with 2-3 inches of additional soil. • As potatoes sprout, cover the sprouts halfway when they are about 6 inches tall. • Continue this process until the top of the container is reached, at this point, the plant will continue to grow without being covered up. (Hilling the potatoes ensures that determinate potatoes are not exposed to sunlight and turn green, ensuring a larger harvest of indeterminate varieties.) #potatoes #growbag #growbaggardening #growbags #containergardening

Multitasking Garden Tools
Do you use your garden tools in unintended ways, too? I love using my long handled tools for making straight rows and also have 6, 12, 18 etc. inches marked on them to help with transplant spacing. I love how anything and everything we do can be done in so many ways, often with so much less than we think. But sharing ideas, Diversity in and out of the garden are what brings me joy, not fear. Just thought I'm thinking as I start seeds to grow our own food... also I 💚 music and I think my plants do too... Share this with someone you love sharing ideas and food with!
