Black holes are dense points in space that create deep gravity sinks. Beyond a certain point, not even light can escape the gravitational pull of a black hole. And anything that gets too close, whether it's a star, a planet, or a spacecraft, will be stretched and compressed like putty in a theoretical process known as spaghettification.
