Lemons

Original reductive block-print created by hand carving linoleum, this 'Lemon' print will bring a bit of zest to any room. Created by hand in a small studio in Brackley Northamptonshire, this print has a limited run of only 20. This piece has been created by printing the block twice in black and yellow and this process means that only a small edition of prints are created and can never be repeated without carving a completely new piece. Each print is mounted, numbered and signed by the artist. Every print is completely unique, as each print is hand pressed and the ink never transfers in the same way, so no two prints are ever the same, adding to the unique quality of this piece of artwork. The paper used is acid free so will retain its colour for years to come.

'Teasles and Cornflowers' is hand carved into lino and hand printed by me. The print is marked as an open edition (O/E) and is initialled by me. This has 2 layers of printing - first the pale blue cornflower layer and then the black teasles. The ink is Cranfield Caligo safe wash ink (it can be washed without the need for harmful solvents). It is printed onto white A4 paper, made from recycled coffee cups. The print will arrive (unframed) wrapped in 100% compostable cellophane with a logo sticker on the back. It will be in a cardboard backed 'Do not bend' envelope. As they are hand printed there will be slight differences/imperfections in the prints making each one unique!
